Larry Mike II
Larry Mike II is an associate attorney for Brandy Austin Law Firm. Larry a 10-year veteran of the United States Air Force joins a long list of family members who served in the military since WWII. During his time in the military, Larry instructed new Law Enforcement trainees on weapons, tactics, and military operations before being accepted as a Special Agent in the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI). After graduating from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, Georgia, Larry worked with several three-letter law enforcement agencies while investigating drug related crimes. During his time in the military, Larry deployed to the Middle East in support of military operations throughout the region in support of the Global War on Terrorism and Operation Enduring Freedom. After honorably separating from the military in 2006, Larry completed his undergraduate degree with Bellevue University then attended Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (Texas A&M University School of Law).
During his time in Law School, Larry was chosen to be a member of several traveling mock trial and moot court teams to represent the school in regional and national competition. In May 2011, Larry earned his J.D. and represented his class as the graduation speaker during the graduation ceremony. In July 2011, Larry took and passed the bar examination after studying for only two-weeks. Larry focuses on family law and has represented fathers, mothers and children in Texas. Additionally, Larry’s understanding of the military community has allowed him to effectively represent military veterans in family law matters. Larry is a strong believer that children thrive when parents work together and focus on the best interest of the child. Larry can often be found primarily in Tarrant and Dallas county family law courts and on occasion in outlying counties. Recently, Larry was accepted into the Texas Bar College where the majority of his Continuing Legal Education focused on family law related topics. Larry a frequent contributor to the Brandy Austin Law Firm Facebook Live talk show also co-hosted a six-part mini series podcast entitled: Disclosure: Divorce In Texas currently available on iTunes. Currently, Larry is pursuing Board Certification in Family Law as he strives to distinguish himself as a knowledgeable family law attorney amongst his peers. Larry a transplant from Fort Knox, Kentucky currently lives in Fort Worth, Texas and calls Texas the greatest state in the Union and of course his home. When he is not working, Larry attempts to replicate recipes by his favorite multi-Michelin star chef Gordon Ramsay. Larry also enjoys writing children books, fishing, traveling, cooking and eating.
